Shlomo Koren was born in Cologne Germany in 1932. He came to Israel as a young boy and studied at the Bazalel School of Arts and Crafts in Jerusalem. His work is represented in museums and private collections throughout Europe, Israel and the United States, including the Institute of Contemporary Arts in Boston, the Museum on Modern Art in Haifa, the Municipal Museum in Amsterdam and the Ein-Harod Museum in Israel.
