Vern Swansen
Vern Swansen was born in Oregon on August 9, 1916. Swansen grew up in Pasadena and majored in architecture at the University of Southern California. He was curator of education at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art from 1961 to 1971 and past president of the Santa Barbara Art Association.
