About the artist:

Vincenzo Franceschini was born in 1812 in Casandrino. He knows his first artistic training is accomplished with Pitloo and Marseille, then suffer the influence of Duclair and Ferguson. Around 1845 he went to Rome for a short stay. In his early periods of the Franceschini achieves excellent results and his celebrity rises higher, so as to be sung by Salvatore di Giacomo. Around 1850 of the waiver form posillipipista to devote himself to painting with more pronounced flavor romance. At one point in his life, Franceschini truncates sharply with his artistic career, devoting himself to trade. He dies in 1884.
