about Myth of Egyptian Dunes

Myth of Egyptian Dunes captures the mystical beauty of desert landscapes through the lens of the Conceptual Art movement.

This stunning screenprint by Yuko Nii transforms the vast expanse of Egyptian dunes into a contemplative meditation on nature's timeless patterns and the eternal dance between light and shadow across ancient sands. The artwork's sophisticated composition invites viewers to experience the serene majesty of desert vistas while celebrating the artist's unique perspective as a female voice in contemporary landscape art. Perfect for collectors who appreciate the intersection of conceptual depth with natural beauty and the transformative power of desert imagery to evoke both solitude and wonder.

About The Medium: Screenprint

A stencil process employing a frame on which silk or synthetic fabric is stretched. Stencils are hand-drawn or hand-cut and placed on the stretched fabric and act as a block out when the ink passes through the screen by means of a squeegee onto the paper, the non-stencil areas create the image. Also known as silkscreen or serigraph.
