About The Artist: Zora Buchanan

Zora Buchanan received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 1977 and moved with her family to Toronto, where she opened her studio. She established her business of Special Art for Special People specializing in commissioned pen line drawings of homes and buildings. In 1980, Zora focused all of her attention to painting. About The Medium: Lithograph

A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples. A lithograph will not have dots when examined with a magnifying glass.
